Arizona remains No. 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Back-to-back victories over No. 2 UCLA put Arizona unanimously at No. 1 among this week’s ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll. Come from behind victories, the Wildcats improved to 38-1 on the season while the Bruins fell to 27-3 but remained at No. 2. The Florida State Seminoles advanced to No. 3 with a 4-0 performance while the Cal Bears slid to No. 5 after a pair of Pac 10 losses to a then No. 17 Oregon and T14. Oregon.

As conference play continued, the Top 10 teams stayed intact while the Oklahoma Sooners fell from T14 to No. 17 suffering two losses to No. 25 Baylor. No. 18 South Carolina dropped to No. 21 after the No. 12 Tennessee Vols took a three game SEC sweep in Knoxville, TN. The Baylor Bears ascended from No. 25 to No. 23 while Auburn fell to No. 25.
