At the annual awards banquet, held on Saturday night of the annual Missouri ASA Convention, as many as four student scholarships are presented. Gordon Johnson Memorial Student Scholarship:  Gordon Johnson, of Savannah, served the Missouri A.S.A. for over 30 years. Following his death in 1992, the Gordon Johnson Student Scholarship was formed under the leadership of Robert Davis, Northwest District Commissioner.

Dan Kinney Student Scholarship:  Dan Kinney was Missouri's second State Commissioner and served from 1983 to 2002. The first Dan Kinney Scholarship was presented in 2004.
